REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION – ACCESS/CORRECTION (UNDER THE MUNICIPAL FREEDOM OF INFORMATION & PROTECTION OF PRIVACY ACT) Pursuant to the Municipal Freedom of Information & Protection of Privacy Act (the Act), individuals can attend in person at the Belleville Police Service in order to make a request for information or correction to a record. Requests can also be submitted in writing, addressed as follows:

Contact: Anne Brennan-Walsh 613-966-0882 extension 2208 Requests for access or correction to records must be accompanied by a $5.00 Application Fee. Cheques must be made payable to Belleville Police Service or cash accepted.
Under the Act, the institution has 30 days to respond to a request.
Click here for a copy of a FOI Information Request Form. Provide as much detail as possible, i.e. date, time, location, etc. Produce two (2) forms of identification when submitting a request. Payment of $5.00 Application Fee, with a receipt provided to requester.
If payment by mail, send cheque or money order made payable to the Belleville Police Service.
