Motor Vehicle Collisions
Belleville, Ontario – On Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 6:54 pm, police responded to a motor vehicle collision on Station Street involving a motorcycle and a car. The 55 year old male driver of the motorcycle was transported to hospital with minor injuries, treated, and later released. This investigation is continuing.
On Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 8:27 pm, police responded to a single motor vehicle collision at the corner of Victoria Avenue and Pinnacle Street. The vehicle left the roadway striking a building and then a hydro pole. The 19 year old female

Threats – Belleville, Ontario
At approximately 6:00 pm on May 21, 2013 police were called to a Station Street residence to investigate a report of threats. The investigation revealed that a male suspect residing in the same building as the complainant had threatened to stab him after a dispute and later indicated that he was going to cause damage to his vehicle which was parked nearby. The suspect was arrested at the scene and transported to the Belleville Police Service where he was held for a show cause hearing on May 22, 2013 at 1:00 pm.
