Car vs Deer

Belleville, Ontario – On May 15th, 2018, at 12:55 a.m. police responded to Wallbridge-Loyalist Road at the CP tracks as a car had struck a deer. The vehicle also struck the platform at the tracks while trying to avoid hitting the deer. There were no injuries and the deer was apparently unhurt. The owner ended up having to get his car towed.



Belleville, Ontario – On May 14th, 2018, at 11:38 p.m. police and Belleville Fire Department attended on Sidney Street at Bell Blvd. in relation to a small grass fire. The fire was quickly extinguished and witnesses described a male that was observed running in the area. One person was detained on Tracey Street but released unconditionally. Belleville, Ontario – On May 15th, 2018, at 2:05 a.m. police attended at a Benjamin Street residence in relation to a rock that had been thrown through a bedroom window.

No one was injured and the investigation is continuing.
