Weapons call

Belleville, Ontario – On September 11th, 2018, at 3:45 p.m. officers attended on Russell Place regarding a disturbance involving two males. The caller added that one male had a knife and the other had a hockey stick. Both males were located after they had separated. A knife was seized from the one male. In addition he was in possession of cocaine and crystal meth. Jamal Safi, 43 years of age, of Belleville, was charged with two counts of possession of Schedule 1 substances under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He will appear in court on October 15th, 2018.

Motor Vehicle Collision

Belleville, Ontario – On September 11th, 2018, at 4:25 p.m. police attended on Farley Avenue at Hickory Grove in relation to a three-car collision. Two cars had stopped for a school bus when a car ran into the two cars. The bus was not involved. The driver that caused the accident initially stopped, assessed the damage and drove away. Stolen ATV

Belleville, Ontario – On September 11th, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. police attended on Ashley Street in Foxboro in relation to a stolen ATV. Stolen was a 2004 silver Yamaha 660. It has an Ontario licence plate 90PD7. It was taken from the backyard around September 4th, 2018.
