Short Police Pursuit Ends In Charges
Belleville, Ontario – On the 11th of May 2019 at 3:02 a.m. Police engaged in a short pursuit in the Earl Street area in Belleville. Police successfully initiated a traffic stop where a 36 year old Belleville man was identified as the driver. An investigation followed resulting in the man being charged with several traffic offences. He was charged with Drive While under Suspension 53(1) HTA, Fail to Stop For Police 216(1) HTA and Careless Driving 130(1) under the Highway Traffic Act. He was given a court date in June to face the charges.
Belleville, Ontario – On the 11th of May 2019 at 12:15 a.m. Police responded to the area of McPhee Street regarding a vehicle driving by the residences shooting paintballs at the houses and nearby vehicles. Cyclist Struck in Hit & Run
Belleville, Ontario – On the 10th of May 2019 at 6:00 p.m. Police responded to a Motor Vehicle Collision at Bell Blvd and North Front Street where a cyclist was struck by a silver car. The cyclist did not sustain any injuries although the driver failed to remain and was last seen traveling Eastbound on Bell Blvd. An investigation is ongoing. Motor Vehicle Collision
Belleville, Ontario – On the 10th of May 2019 at 2:25 p.m. Police responded to the area of College Street East for a 3 vehicle collision where no injuries were reported. An investigation ensued resulting in a 34 year old male being charged with Careless Driving.
