Belleville Police responded to 61 calls for service between 5:00 a.m. on the 7th of October 2019 and 5:00 a.m. on the 8th of October 2019.
Belleville, ON – On the 7th of October 2019, at approximately 7:50 p.m., a male attended the police station to turn himself in on outstanding warrant from 2018. Luckily, the warrants were endorsed and 31-years-old Michael Witherden of Belleville was released on a promise to appear with a court date for the 24th of October 2019.
Belleville, ON – On the 7th of October 2019, at approximately 8:10 p.m., police received a call to an east end location for a report of a female in medical distress. Upon arrival, officers identified the female and ascertained that warrants were outstanding for her arrest. As a result, officers accompanied her to Belleville General Hospital where she was later released on a promise to appear. 41-years-old Angela Ford of Belleville, was given a court date of the 24th of October 2019, charged with failing to appear for her fingerprints relating to an original charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Belleville, ON - On the 8th of October 2019, at approximately 12:30 a.m., Belleville Police attended an east end apartment building for a report of a male passed out in the hallway. Officers quickly located the male and noticed that he was heavily intoxicated due to the consumption of alcoholic beverages. A 33-years-old Quinte West man was arrested for being intoxicated in a common area for his own safety. He was later released on a Part I offense notice.
