Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 62 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on the 12th of January, 2022 to 5:00 am on the 13th of January, 2022

Theft

On the 12th of January, 2022 at 1:48 pm Belleville Police attended on Sarah Court Belleville, Ontario in regards to a theft. The complainant reported that two unknown suspects had stolen a package from the front porch of the residence. The males were described as having dark clothing and one male was carrying a large garbage bag over his shoulder. Anyone with information on this theft is asked to contact the Belleville Police at 613-966-0882.

Disturbance

On the 13th of January, 2022 at 2:36 am Belleville Police attended an address on Moira Street West Belleville, Ontario in regards to a male causing a disturbance outside the caller’s residence. Upon arrival the male was located and determined to be intoxicated. As a result, the Twenty-seven-year-old Belleville, Ontario resident was arrested for public intoxication. He was later released on a provincial offence notice.

Belleville Police looking for wanted male

The Belleville Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a wanted male. William Joseph McInnis thirty-two years old of no fixed address. McInnis is currently wanted by Belleville Police for two arrest warrants for the following offences;

  1. Assault
  2. Mischief
  3. Breach of Recognizance – Fail to Attend Court
