Cops, Kids and Ice Fishing Derby set for Feb. 15, 2020. Children will have to wait until mid-February to enjoy some ice fishing with Belleville Police officers.

A release from the police service said ice conditions are less than favourable for the fourth annual Cops, Kids and Ice Fishing Derby because of mild weather and rain.

The event has been rescheduled for Feb. 15 and it will run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The location will remain the same at the Herchimer Avenue boat launch.

This date is also tentative depending on the weather and further confirmation will be sent closer to the middle of next month.
