911 Call - Misdial and Pocket Dial

Belleville Ontario, between 11 April 2019  at 0500 and 12 April 2019  at 0500  the Belleville Police received nine 911 calls that were either dialed by mistake or an accidental dial by a cell phone. Follow-0up has to be done on each call taking up time and resources to determine if the call is a real emergency . The Belleville Police are reminding the community to be cognizant of the numbers you are dialing, and having your cell phones  locked when not in use.
