Belleville, Ontario - On the 28th of August 2019 members of the Belleville Police Service Intelligence and Street Crime Unit, Belleville Police Service Emergency Response Team and Ontario Provincial Police Quinte Community Street Crime Unit executed Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrants at two Belleville addresses.
As a result of the Search Warrants approximately 3.5 ounces of cocaine with a street value $10, 000 dollars were seized.
In total eight Criminal charges were laid against four Belleville residents and two Marmora residents. The Criminal charges included four charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking cocaine, Unlawful possession of an illegal narcotic and two counts of breach of Probation.
The charged persons will appear in court on the 26th of September 2019.
