911 Calls-Misdial and Pocket Dial 911 Call - Misdial and Pocket Dial Belleville Ontario, between 11 April 2019  at 0500 and 12 April 2019  at 0500  the Belleville Police received nine 911 calls that were either dialed by mistake or an accidental dial by a cell phone. Follow-0up has to be done on each call taking up time and resources to determine if the call is a real emergency . The Belleville Police are reminding the community to be cognizant of the numbers you are dialing, and having your cell phones  locked when not in use.

18th April 2019 The Belleville Police Service responded to 72 calls for service between April 17th, 2019 at 5:00 a.m. and April 18th, 2019 at 5:00 a.m. Motor Vehicle Collisions Belleville, Ontario – On the 17th of April 2019, police responded to seven Motor Vehicle Collisions, with two being referred to the Collision Reporting Center located at the Belleville Police Service at 93 Dundas Street East. At 2:00 p.m., police responded to a two-vehicle collision on Catharine Street. There were no injuries reported and an investigation resulted in a 46 year-old male being charged with Change Lane Not
