Belleville Police Service responded to 45 calls for service from the 29th of March 2020 at 5:00 a.m. to the 30th of March 2020 at 5:00 a.m.

Domestic Disturbance Results in Charges

Belleville, ON- On the 29th of March 2020 at 4:30 p.m. Police responded to an East end residence regarding a disturbance. Upon arrival Police observed significant damage to a vehicle that was on scene and also learned that a male was assaulted by a female. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of a male and female, both from the Kingston area. The 41-year-old female was arrested and charged with Assault with a Weapon and the 34-year-old male was arrested and charged with Mischief Over $5000. Both were transported to the Belleville Police Service and released on an Undertaking where the female will attend court on May 4th 2020 and the male will attend court on April 27th 2020 to face the charges.

Break & Enter

Belleville, ON – On the 29th of March 2020 at 8:45 p.m. Police responded to a business on Station Street regarding a break and enter. An initial investigation revealed that an unknown suspect made a forced entry into the business, stealing product and leaving the area on foot. The investigation is ongoing at this time; if you have any information regarding the suspect in this matter please notify PC Smith #168 at jsmith@police.belleville.on.ca or call Crime Stoppers.
