The Belleville Police responded to calls for service between 07 April 2021 5:00 a.m. and 08 April 2021 5:00 a.m.

Assault

Belleville ON, On 07 April 2021 at 5:30 p.m. police attended an address on Coleman St. in regards to a disturbance. When police arrived, the parties were separated. After further investigation Justin Etches a 30 year old Belleville male was charged with one count of assault. He was released on an undertaking with a court date of 22 April 2021.

Breach of Judicial Release

Belleville ON, On 07 April 2021 at 615 hrs officers were called to  a business on Station St. in regards to an issue with a male. The issue was resolved and as officers were leaving they were approached by an employee. He indicated that a male walking down the street saw the officers and said he had to get out of there because he was not supposed to be in Belleville. Officers spoke to the male and a records check indicated that the male was on a Judicial Release. One of the conditions of the release was for him not to be in Belleville . The second was for him to not be away from his residence without his surety. The 28 yr old Toronto resident was arrested and held for a bail hearing on 08 April 2021.
