Total calls for service- The Belleville Police Service responded to 54 calls for service between December 28th, 2021 at 5:00 a.m. and December 29th, 2021 at 5:00 a.m.

Weapons and Mischief

On the 28th of December at 10:23 am police were called to an east end address for reports of a male threatening his neighbour with a knife. Police were informed that a male had attended a neighbour’s residence - kicked open their door and threatened them with a knife. Investigation into the incident lead to the arrest of two males. A twenty-nine-year-old male Belleville, Ontario resident Tristain Boyes was arrested and charged with Mischief and Weapons Dangerous. A second male twenty-five-year old male Belleville, Ontario resident Manuel Carpio was arrested and charged with Mischief. Both were later released with a court date of the 17th of February, 2021.

Break and Enter

On the 28th of December at 1:03 pm police were called to a Cannifton Road Belleville, Ontario address for a Break and Enter. It was determined that sometime around 1:00 am on the 28th of December, 2021 unknown persons entered a garage and stole a variety of power tools and a case of beer. The value of the stolen items is estimated at $1500.00 dollars. There are no suspects at this time.
