Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 66 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on the 4th of January, 2022 to 5:00 am on the 5th of January, 2022

 

Break and Enter

On 4th of January, 2021 at 12:48 pm Belleville Police attended an address on Vermilyea Road in regards to a break and enter into a garage. The victim reported that sometime overnight between the 30th of December, 2021 and the 31st of December, 2021 unknown suspect(s) entered his garage. The suspect(s) removed a Radley leaf blower, a gas-powered power washer, a pellet gun, assorted tools, and a bicycle. There are no suspects at this time. Arrest on Warrants

On the 5th of January, 2021 at 1:24 am Belleville Police observed a male acting in a suspicious manner around a business on Bell Blvd. Police spoke to a male who identified himself as forty-one-year-old Belleville, Ontario resident Robert Palin. A check of the male indicated that he was wanted by the Belleville Police for four counts of failing to comply with his release order. The accused was arrested for the warrant and held for a bail hearing on 5th of January 2022.
