Family dispute

On 5^th of January, 2022 at 8:25 pm Belleville Police responded to a residence on Stanley Street Belleville, Ontario in regards to a family dispute.  Upon arrival police spoke to the parents of a male who was intoxicated and had caused some damage in the residence. The thirty-three-year-old suspect was arrested for mischief. He was later released unconditionally as the parents did not want to proceed with charges.

Domestic Assault

On the 5^th of January, 2022 at 11:20 pm Belleville Police attended a residence on Bridge Street West Belleville, Ontario in regards to a disturbance. Upon arrival police spoke to a person in regards to an assault. After investigation a male fifty-two-year-old Belleville, Ontario resident was arrested and charged with domestic assault and two counts of breach of probation. He was held for a bail hearing on the 6^th of January, 2022. The name of the accused is not being released to protect the identity of the victim.
