Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 165 calls for service over a 72-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on the 8th of January, 2022 to 5:00 am on the 10th of January, 2022

Motor Vehicle Collision

On the 7th of January, 2022 at 3:48 pm Belleville Police were called to a motor vehicle collision at Dundas Street West and Avondale Road Belleville, Ontario. There were no injuries sustained and one vehicle was towed due to the extent of the damage. The Belleville Police Service continue to investigate the collision and are asking the public’s assistance. Attempt Break & Enter

On the 8th of January 2022 at 9:05 a.m. Belleville Police responded to a business on Millennium Parkway Belleville, Ontario regarding an attempted Break & Enter. Police were advised by staff of the business that at 4:08 a.m. an unknown male pried open the faceplate of the coin box at the business in an attempt to steal the money inside. An alarm went off and the male left the area in a Black Dodge Ram. This occurrence is currently still under investigation. Break & Enter

On the 8th of January 2022 at 3:30 p.m. Belleville Police responded to a Station Street Belleville, Ontario address regarding a Break & Enter. Police investigation revealed that sometime between December 20th 2021 and the 8th of January 2022, unknown suspects forcefully entered a shed on the property damaging the interior and stealing approximately $500.00 dollars worth of tools.
