Belleville, Ontario -   On Monday, August 31, 2015 at 6:20 pm, police responded to a call of a group fighting near Great St. James Street.  Upon arrival, the group had dispersed but an adult male and female both of Belleville was charged under the Liquor Licence Act with having open containers of liquor.

Bail Violations

Belleville, Ontario – On Monday, August 31, 2015 at approximately 10:20 pm, police responded to another call of a large fight behind a bar on Front Street.  Upon arrival, police located a male that had been involved in the fight.  Further investigation revealed that the 33 year old Belleville male was on conditions not to be outside of his residence between 8 pm and 7 am nor be consuming alcohol.  As a result, the male was arrested and charged with Breach of Recognizance x 2 and is held for a bail hearing on today’s date.  

Break and Enter

Belleville, Ontario – On September 1, 2015 at 12:36 am, police responded to a call of a possible break and enter to a business on Northfront Street.  Upon arrival, police were advised that the suspect male had been observed scaling a fence entering the property and was last seen leaving on a bicycle with two bags of fertilizer.  The suspect male is described as 5 ft 9, buzz cut, wearing cargo shorts.  Police checked the area with negative results.  Anyone with information about this break and enter is asked to contact the Belleville Police Service and/or Quinte Crimestoppers.
