Assault Belleville, Ontario

On the 30th of November 2013 at 5:20am, Police responded to a call of an assault on Herchimer Avenue. Investigation revealed that the male victim was walking south on Herchimer Ave near Victoria Ave when a male approached him from behind and pepper sprayed him. The victim was able to run to a nearby convenience store where Police were called. The suspect is described as male Caucasian 6'1 and approximately 160lbs, no further description was available. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crime Stoppers.

Theft of Cattle Belleville, Ontario

On the 30th of November, Belleville Police Service received a complaint of the theft of 5 Black Angus cows that were being kept at an address on Highway 37. The owner reported that the animals were removed sometime on the 29th of November between 2:30Pm and 7Pm. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crime Stoppers.
