Belleville, Ont., - On February 1st, 2009, at 12:30 a.m., an intoxicated female was refused admittance to a north end bar. She refused to leave the area once Police arrived and was arrested for public intoxication. The driver?s licence that she produced turned out to be a friend?s who has similar features. This 18 year old Belleville woman was charged under the Liquor Licence Act with public intoxication. The driver?s licence was seized and that aspect of the investigation is continuing.
Belleville - Ont., - On February 01st , at , Police responded to a North Front Street location in reference to a male passed out in a snow bank.The 23 year Belleville man was located and arrested for public intoxication.

Belleville, Ont., - On February 1st, 2009, at 4:00 a.m., a 24 year old Belleville man was arrested on outstanding warrants. The warrants were not endorsed and this male was held for Bail on Feb. 2nd, 2009.
Belleville, Ont - On February 1, 2009 at approximately 12:50pm, Police were called to Belleville General Hospital with regards to a Domestic Assault that had occurred earlier in the evening. It is alleged the assault occurred at approximately 2:00am in an east end residence. The victim sustained significant injuries to her face and mouth resulting in the loss of several teeth. The accused also punched her several times on the legs as she attempted to get away.
A female victim had been taken to Belleville GeneralHospital for treatment of her injuries sustained during an assault.
A 31 year old Belleville was arrested and charged with one count Assault Cause Bodily Harm and two counts of Assault.
The accused has been held for a Bail Hearing on February 2, 2009.
The name of the accused will not be released as to protect the identity of the victim.

Officers checked 370 cars last night throught the City of Belleville. Of all 370 vehicles checked, three drivers were administered roadside tests. Two passed, while a third driver registered a 12 ? hour suspension.This driver was also charged with G1 licence violation.
