The Belleville Police Service responded to 67 calls for service from May 31, 2013 at 5:00 a.m. to June 1, 2013 at 5:00 a.m.

Motor Vehicle Collisions, Belleville Ontario

Belleville Police Service investigated 2 motor vehicle collisions involving property damage and minor personal injuries during the past 24 hours. One collision occurred on College Street at Moira Street and the other at the intersection of Church Street and Victoria Avenue. In both incidents the motorists were charged with disobeying a traffic light.

Break and Enter- Belleville, Ontario

Belleville Police Service responded to a call of a residential break and enter at a Coleman Street address. It was determined that during the past week unknown person(s) entered the residence removing electronics and a tattoo kit. Police are asking anyone with information about this incident to call Police or Quinte Crimestoppers.

Over 80Mgs- Belleville Ontario

At approximately 2Am, Officers on patrol stopped a vehicle that was being driven erratically. Upon further investigation a roadside screening device test was conducted resulting in the driver registering a fail. The driver was transported to the station and administered a breath test. As a result a 59 year old male from Belleville is charged with over 80 mgs and will appear in court on the 13th of June. His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle seized.
