Warrant

Belleville, Ontario - On Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 2:00pm, Kingston Police arrested a male wanted by Belleville Police Service.   Barry Evans, 44 years of age of Kingston, Ontario, was escorted to Belleville Police Service and held for a show cause hearing for Fail to Comply with Recognizance x 3.

Possession of a Controlled Substance and Breach of Recognizance

Belleville, Ontario – On Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 8:40 pm, police responded to Station Street in regards to an intoxicated male causing problems on a VIA rail train.   The male was arrested for Public Intoxication and removed from the train.  Further investigation revealed that the male was in possession of a large quantity of drugs and was on a recognizance not to consume alcohol nor possess drugs.  As a result, a 39 year old male from Quebec has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance x 4 and Breach of Recognizance x 2.  The male was in possession of marijuana, hash and methamphetamine with a street value of $9.000.00.  He is being held for a show cause hearing 02 March 2015.
