Theft Belleville, Ontario

 

 At approximately 8:18 am on April 30, 2014 police were called to a Station Street business to investigate a report of a theft. Sometime during the overnight period a cash box wash broken into and a quantity of cash was stolen. Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to call the Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crimestoppers.

 

Break and Enter Belleville, Ontario

 

 At approximately 2:57 pm on April 30, 2014 police were called to a West Moira Street address to investigate a report of a Break and Enter. Sometime between 9:00 am and 2:50 pm during the day unknown person(s) broke into the residence and stole a 32 RCA flat screen television, an Acer laptop, and an LG portable DVD player. Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to call the Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crimestoppers.

 

Assault Belleville, Ontario.

 

 At approximately 5:39 pm on April 30, 2014 police were called to Everett Street near the intersection of West Moira Street to investigate a report of a male assaulting a female. The investigation revealed that a male had been driving with two female passengers in his vehicle and had stopped at that location and forced them to exit. He then grabbed one of the females by her hair and pulled her to the ground before dragging her for a short distance then fleeing from the area. He was located nearby, arrested and transported to the Belleville Police Service. Brian Sedore, 55, of Belleville faces a charge of assault. He was later released on a Promise to Appear with a court date of June 5, 2014. The victim sustained minor injuries as a result of the incident.
