Belleville, Ontario – On April 30th, 2015, police responded to 5 accidents throughout the city.
At 9:06 a.m. police attended at the intersection of Bell and Sidney in relation to a minor two-car accident. There were no injuries.
At 1:44 p.m. police attended at the intersection of Dundas St. East and First Street as a car had collided with a dump truck. There were no injuries.
At 3:30 p.m. a two-car accident occurred on Dundas St. West east of Sidney St. One of the drivers suffered minor injuries and attended at BGH. This investigation is continuing.
At 4:00 p.m. police attended in the parking of the Bayview Mall in relation to a two-car accident. There were no injuries.
At 4:56 p.m. police attended on Sidney Street at the Home Depot entrance north of Bell Blvd. in relation to a three-car accident. EMS and Fire Dept. also attended as one of the drivers required medical treatment. An 85 year old Belleville man was charged with failing to yield from a private driveway.
Belleville, Ontario – On May 1st, 2015, at 12:27 a.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop on Village Drive. A 35 year old Belleville man was charged with driving while under suspension. A 40 year old Belleville man was charged with permitting operation of a motor vehicle without insurance. Both will appear in Traffic Court on June 1st, 2015.
Break and Enter
Belleville, Ontario – On May 1st, 2015, at 3:45 a.m. homeowners on Tracey Street reported that an intoxicated male had just entered their home. A 24 year old Stirling man was arrested at the scene. He was charged with being intoxicated in a public place. No one was injured.
