He was not listening
Belleville, Ontario – At 07:00 a.m. 30 Sept 2013 a 22 year old male, charged with assault, was released on a Promise to appear and an Officer In Charge Recognizance with conditions for a court date in October. By 08:20 a.m. he was back in custody again charged with 2 counts of breaching the conditions of his release. Kristopher Carter of Belleville was held in custody for a bail hearing.
Disturbance
Belleville, Ontario - A disturbance at a Haig Rd. apartment building has resulted in a 39 year old female being charged with several offences. Charges of threatening, weapons dangerous and mischief have been processed. A verbal dispute between neighbours in the building escalated into a knife being produced, threats being made and damage caused to an apartment door. No one was injured. The accused female was released on a Promise to appear with a court date in October. "She also was not listening.” Less than 2 hours later a 38 year old female from Belleville was arrested for mischief (damage to another neighbours door) and is being held in custody for a bail hearing.
Vehicle / Cyclist collision
Belleville, Ontario – At approximately 09:20 a vehicle collided with a cyclist on Sarah Court. A 28 year old male cyclist was treated at BGH for minor injuries. No charges resulted.
Collision with Belleville Transit Bus
Belleville, Ontario – At approximately 06:22p.m., a vehicle exiting from the Metro Grocery Store lot on North Front St. collided with the rear of a Belleville Transit Bus. No one was injured. Both vehicles sustained damage. The 60 year old driver from Pembroke has been charged with failing to yield from a private driveway.
