Motor Vehicle Collision

Belleville Ont,  On 2 Oct 2018 at 1030 am officers attended on Lemoine st in regards to a single vehicle driving into a pole. The pole was snapped in half. A 17 year old male was charged with careless driving. There were no serious injuries.


Arrest on Warrants.

Belleville Ontario, on 01 October 2018 officers received a call from the Barrie Police that a male by the name of Kaleb  Saastamoinen , a 22 year old  from Orillia was arrested. The male was wanted on Belleville Police warrants for Fraud under 5000.00 dollars. The accused was posting fake ads on Kijiji for cars for sale. He would take the deposits but did not have any vehicles. The accused has a bail hearing on 02 Oct 2018 .


Armed  Robbery.

Belleville Ont, On 02 October at 1230 am two males attended at the Belleville Police Station. They advised that they were in the area of the Memorial Park on Station St. They were approached by a male who asked them for a light. They gave him one and they 4 more males came out of hiding. One brandished a scalpel and the others had other weapons. They were robbed of their cells phones and some cash. The one male was described as approx. 6’1 wearing a white hat, white shirt with orange stripes, jeans, with a light brown busy beard. The second male was described as 5’9 with a black under armour hat, black windbreaker and jeans. An accurate description of the rest was not readily available.
