Belleville, Ontario – On the 16th of September 2019 at 12:30 a.m., police responded to the area of College Street East for a domestic dispute. Officers attended the scene where an investigation ensued resulting in a 30 year-old Belleville man being arrested for assault. Belleville, ON – On the 14th of September 2019 at approximately 9:34 p.m., police were called to an east end location regarding a male wielding a chainsaw. Further investigation revealed that the male had utilized the chainsaw in the commission of an offense. The male entered into an argument with his spouse leading to him threatening his wife with the chainsaw. Belleville, Ontario – On the 14th of September 2019 at approximately 1:00 a.m., city police were called to an area in the west end for a report of a suspicious male. Upon arrival, officers located a male passed out on the sidewalk, heavily intoxicated due to the consumption of alcohol. A 34-year-old Belleville man was arrested under the liquor license act for his own safety. He was lodged into cells and later released
