Stolen pick-up truck

Belleville, Ontario – On November 1st, 2015, at 2:30 p.m. a 1999 GMC 4x4 pick-up truck was reported stolen from the Tracey Park Drive area sometime overnight. It was located burnt near O’Brien’s Bridge on Hwy 37. Any information on the theft of this truck can be forwarded to the Belleville Police Service or Quinte Crimestoppers.

Intoxicated persons

Belleville, Ontario – On November 1st, 2015, at 5:45 p.m. police attended at a residence on Bridge Street West in relation to an unwanted person.  A 52-year old Belleville man was arrested for his own protection under the Liquor Licence Act. He was charged with being intoxicated in a public place.

On November 1st, 2015, at 6:10 p.m. several reports were received about a man stumbling into traffic on Dundas Street East at Pinnacle Street. A 36-year old Belleville man was located and arrested for his own protection under the Liquor Licence Act. He was charged with being intoxicated in a public place.

On November 1st, 2015, at 6:15 p.m. police attended on Avonlough Road over concerns that the occupants of a parked car were consuming alcohol. Alcohol was seized and the owner of the car, a 61-year old Belleville man, was charged with having open liquor in a vehicle. He also provided a breath sample and passed. A passenger in the vehicle, a 61-year old Belleville woman, was arrested for her own protection under the Liquor Licence Act. She was charged with being intoxicated in a public place.
