Break and Enters
Belleville, Ontario - On 02 November 2009 Police responded to a report of a Break and Enter. Investigation revealed that sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. a residence in the East end of Belleville was entered and a Nintendo Wii game system, five World War II medals and an IBM laptop computer were stolen.
As well, sometime between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. a Bell Blvd business was entered and approximately $5,000.00 in merchandise was taken.
Belleville, Ontario - On 03 November 2009, Police investigated another Break and Enter to an unlocked garage at a Foxton Road residence. Investigation determined that a 2005 Model 485 25 Hpwr John Deere tractor with a 62 Inch deck bearing Serial number M0X485B040606 valued at $16,500.00 was stolen. Anyone with information is asked to contact Belleville Police Services.
Attempt Theft from Vehicle
Belleville, Ont. ? On November 3, 2009, at 9:29 p.m., a vehicle owner reported seeing a person inside her vehicle which was parked in her driveway on Cedar Street. The owner gave chase to the suspect who ran north on Cedar Street to Henry Street, dropping property which had been stolen from the vehicle. Police searched the area but did not locate the suspect. Only description is that the suspect was wearing a black hoodie with a silver design and blue jeans. The vehicle owner retrieved all the stolen property.
Belleville, Ont. ? On November 3, 2009 at 9:45 p.m. a report was taken of a vehicle which had been damaged earlier in the evening while parked behind a business on Front Street. A side window was smashed and the windshield was cracked.
