Arrest on Warrants
Belleville, Ontario – On the 2nd of August at 9:00 pm, after a short foot chase in the Tracey Park Dr. area, police arrested a 24 year old male on outstanding warrants. The Belleville male had two warrants consisting of 5 Breach of probation charges and a single count of theft under $5000. The male is being held overnight for a video remand appearance in the morning.
Belleville, Ontario – On the 3rd of August at approximately 12:30 am an officer on patrol conducted a traffic stop after he observed a vehicle fail to stop for an amber light. When the officer checked the male it was found that Prince Edward County OPP held an arrest warrant for him for four counts of breaching his undertaking. The male was transported to The Belleville Police Service where OPP met them and released 55 year old Belleville resident Allen Neil Tompkins on a promise to appear. He was also issued a provincial offence notice for the traffic violation.
Belleville, Ontario – On the 3rd of August at approximately 4:00 am police took into custody a 36 year old Durham Region resident into custody for a number of warrants with charges including breach of recognizance, possession of stolen property, personation, uttering forged documents, breach of probation, fraud, theft and failing to attend court. She also has warrants for her arrest out of Kingston and is being held in custody for a video remand appearance in the morning.
Belleville, Ontario – On the 2nd of August at 7:30 pm police were called to The Quinte Mall with regards to a shoplifter who was caught stealing from one of their stores. 42 year old Kingston resident Tracey Anne Brenton was taken to The Belleville Police Service where she was later released on a promise to appear with an August 29th court date to answer to one count of theft under $5000.
Breach of Court Order
Belleville, Ontario – On the 3rd of August at approximately 4:00 am police arrested a 42 year old Belleville male with regards to an investigation in relation to a breach of a family court order that was received on the 31st of July. The male was released on a promise to appear as well as an officer in charge undertaking with conditions. He was given a court date of the 28th of August to answer to the charge of Disobeying Order of Court. The identity of the male is being withheld to protect the identity of the complainant.
