On June 3rd at approx. 0253 hours police received a call of a single motor vehicle collision where the vehicle failed to remain on Moira Street East. The vehicle was quickly located a short distance away by officers following debris and fluids from the vehicle. The driver was identified and found to have received minor injuries as a result of the collision. Adrian Hernandez 27 of Belleville is charged with fail to remain at the scene of an accident, impaired operation of a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with over 80mgs of alcohol in his blood. Hernandez was released from custody and will appear in court on June 22

Man with a Knife

At approximately 0300 hrs, the Belleville police received a report of from concerned citizens that were followed by an unknown male who then pulled a large  knife on them in the area of Church St by St Andrews Church.  The male did not want their money or belongings after being offered. The suspect fled after the citizens called 911. 

The suspect was described as very intoxicated. 

Male described as mid 20’s, white, 6’2, thin build, short hair and stubble.  Was wearing a black and white trucker style hat, black hoody with zipper on front, black track pants and was carrying a black and blue book bag.
