Disturbance

Belleville ON -  At 9:45 pm on November 2, 2018 Officers attended on Pine st in regards to a disturbance. The investigation revealed that a male in a vehicle attended in the area looking to fight another male. The male came out of the residence with a number of friends and confronted the male in the vehicle. The male in the vehicle drove off at a high rate of speed. He crashed into a nearby parked vehicle and fled the scene. The vehicle that was parked sustained serious damage. There were also three people in the vehicle, one of the being a small child. The child sustained minor injuries. The suspect vehicle was located abandoned on University Av. Approx 1 hr after the incident the suspect driver turned himself into the Belleville Police. Brandon French a 24 yr old Stirling resident was charged with Fail to Remain, and Careless Driving, both under the Highway Traffic Act. He was released with a court date of December 3rd 2018.
