Vehicle Stolen Overnight & Recovered

Belleville Ontario – On the 3rd of November at 6:11am the Belleville Police received a report of a stolen Ford F-150 pick-up truck which had been stolen sometime overnight from a residential driveway on Elvins Garden.  The vehicle key had been left in the vehicle overnight.  Approximately a ½ hr later, officers on patrol located the vehicle dumped on a side street about 1km away.  The investigation is continuing.


Vehicles Entered Overnight

Belleville Ontario – On the 3rd of November in addition to the stolen vehicle from Elvins Garden, police received 7 further reports of thefts / mischief to vehicles entered over night from the Elvins Garden, Pringle and North Park Garden area. 

Police are again reminding vehicle owners to not leave valuables in their vehicles and to ensure they lock their vehicles at night. 


Arrested on Warrant

Belleville Ontario – On the 4th of November at 2:35am, police responded to a call of an unwanted person at a residence on Benjamin St.  Police spoke to several people upon their arrival including a 34yr old male from Kingston.  The investigation revealed that this male was wanted by the Kingston Police Force for breaching his Recognizance.  As a result, the male was arrested on the strength of the Kingston warrant.  Kingston Police later attended and returned the male to Kingston for court purposes.
