Update - Arson February 4th 2014 press release

Belleville, Ontario as a result of investigation into the arson which took place on 11th January 2014, Belleville Police have issued an additional arrest warrant for Robert Rowe. He is charged with Arson, Theft under $5000, Possession of Property obtained by crime and utter threats to burn property. Police recently issued an arrest warrant for Rowe in January in relation to an assault complaint. It is believed Mr. Rowe remains in the Quinte area evading police. Anyone with information is asked to call police or Quinte Crime Stoppers.

Update Arson January 13th 2014 press release

Belleville, Ontario The Ontario Fire Marshall's Office and the Belleville Police Service are continuing their investigation into a set fire at a Coleman Street address. Property damage from the blaze is estimated to be approximately $75,000.00. There were no injuries reported. Any persons with information are asked to contact Detective Sergeant Brad Lentini or Quinte Crime Stoppers.

Suspicious Fire January 11th 2014 press release

Belleville, Ontario - Belleville Fire Service attended a fire call at a vacant residence on Coleman St., where substantial damage was caused. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined however, is believed to be suspicious. Belleville Police Service has secured the scene and the Fire Marshall's office will be contacted to investigate the cause of the fire.

Assault: - January 24th 2014 press release

Belleville, Ontario on 4 January, 2013, police were called to the downtown area to investigate an assault complaint. As a result of witness statements police have charged 51 year old Robert Rowe with Assault, Criminal Harassment and Uttering Threats. A warrant has been issued for Rowe's arrest. Rowe is evading police. Rowe is described as 5'6, weighing 147lbs, short brown hair, usually wearing a goatee, and hazel eyes.
