Break and Enter- Belleville Ont., -On the 3rd of June 2014 at 9:15 am a citizen called Belleville Police Service to report witnessing a possible break and enter to a Victoria Avenue residence. Police attended and arrested 2 males aged 23 and 21 as well as an adult female age 22, all of no fixed address. All are charged with break and enter and commit  and were held for a bail hearing.

 

ATV/Train Collision- Belleville Ont.,- On the 3rd of June 2014 at 3:08 pm Belleville Police Service responded to an All-Terrain Vehicle and Train Collision in the area of Moira St and Palmer Road. Investigation revealed that the rider of the ATV was attempting to cross the railway tracks when the machine became stuck. The driver fled the vehicle when the train approached and then struck the ATV. Police are looking for the driver and the investigation is continuing. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Belleville Police Service Cst. Josefik or Quinte Crime Stoppers.

 

Traffic Stop- Firearms Arrest- Belleville Ont. On the 3rd of June 2014 at 8:10 pm an officer was monitoring traffic in the area of Moira Street and Pinnacle Street. The officer observed a vehicle pass with the driver not wearing a seatbelt. The vehicle was subsequently stopped and the officer discovered an unsecured firearm and ammunition within plain view in the vehicle. An 18yr old male from Consecon is charged with unsafe storage of a firearm and ammunition and will appear in court in July.
