Belleville, Ontario -  A joint investigation by the Highland Shores Children’s Aid Society and the Belleville Police Service has resulted in the arrest of an employee of the Hastings Prince Edward District School Board. The incident occurred at a local elementary school on May 20th of this year. A student at the school was alleged to have been assaulted by a staff member. The student received minor injuries that did not require medical attention as a result of the incident. Charged with one count of assault is Krista Cole, 51, of Picton. She was released on a Promise To Appear with a court date of June 18, 2015.

Mischief and Breach of Probation

Belleville, Ontario – On June 3, 2015 at 11:44 am, police responded to a call of a neighbor dispute on Everett Street where information was received that a male had dumped a bucket of furnace oil on his neighbor’s driveway splashing oil on the neighbor, his vehicle and his house.  As a result of the police investigation, a 20 year old Belleville male was arrested and charged with Mischief and Breach of Probation and is being held for a bail hearing 04 June 2015.
