At 7:00 a.m. police attended on Scuttlehole Rd. in relation to a single vehicle accident.  A car had left the roadway and struck a tree.  The car was demolished, but there were no injuries.  A 23 year old Roslin man was charged with careless driving.


At 2:11 p.m. police attended a two-car accident on Bridge St. West at the entrance to the Loyalist Plaza. Both vehicles were towed, and two people from the one car were transported to BGH with minor injuries. A 43 year old Belleville woman was charged with careless driving, driving while under suspension, no insurance, improper licence plates, and a valtag sticker violation.  She will appear in Traffic Court on November 3rd, 2014.




Belleville, Ontario On October 3, 2014, at 6:30 p.m. police attended Citys Central Core area the village- on Front Street in relation to an intoxicated man stumbling on the sidewalk At 32 year old Belleville man was arrested and charged with public intoxication.


On October 4, 2014, at 12:09 am police were called to a Maitland Road residence for an unwanted intoxicated female. A 21 year old Belleville female was arrested for her own protection under the Liquor Licence Act.


Police attended a North Front St. business and observed a 28 year old Belleville male consuming alcohol. The male was on conditions not to consume any intoxicating substances and was then arrested and charged with two counts of Breach of Probation and one count of Breach of Recognizance. The male is being held for a show cause hearing on October 4, 2014.
