Possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking

Belleville Ont, On 3 October 2019, at 4:30 pm, a male entered the Quinte Courthouse in order to meet with a lawyer. While being searched at the front door officers discovered the male had a small quantity of Cocaine, Methamphetamine, and another unidentified substance. The male also had small baggies and a scale. Justin Davis, a 22 yr old Belleville male, was charged with possession of a substance for trafficking, and possession of the proceeds of crime. He was released on a Promise to Appear with a court date on 28 October.


Arrested on Warrants

Belleville Ont, On 3 October 2019, an off duty officer observed a male on North Front St that he knew had warrants for his arrest. Officers arrived in the area and after a short foot pursuit arrested the male. Paul Laroche-Davidson a 40 yr old Belleville man was arrested on warrants for 2 counts of breach of probation, theft under $5000.00 dollars, and break and enter. He has a bail hearing on 4 October 2019.


Dog Found, looking for owner

Belleville Ont, In early morning hours of 4 October, officers were patrolling the area of Moira Street when they found a stray dog. The dog is a white husky mix. Police were unable to locate an owner, so the dog was brought to the station and later to the Humane Society. If this sounds like your dog, please contact the Quinte Humane Society.
