The Belleville Police Service responded to 61 calls between August 4th 2019 at 5:00 a.m. and August 5th 2019 at 5:00 a.m.


Theft from motor vehicle

Belleville, ONT – On August 4th 2019 at 2:11 p.m. police were called to a Frank Street residence for a report of a male observed stealing items from a car.  An investigation revealed a male suspect had stolen blood pressure equipment, a flashlight and cash.  He was last seen heading towards the tunnel on Frank Street.  Police searched the area, but the male was not located.  He is described as white, and wearing a white ball cap and shirt, and riding a bicycle with roller blades attached to the bike.  He was also wearing a blue back pack.  Anyone who may have information about this is asked to please contact investigating officer Cst. Belleville, ONT – Police report a fairly quiet night on Sunday and into the holiday Monday, having attended to domestic disputes, neighbour and family disputes, traffic complaints, and harassment issues. Peace was preserved as nobody was arrested or charged at any of these occurrences.
