Assault / Weapons:
Belleville, Ont; Police attended an east-end residence in the early morning of January 4th 2018. A call was placed to 911 for emergency help. Upon arrival police were engaged in a foot pursuit of a male in and around a residence. Investigation revealed a Belleville man had committed offences of break and enter with intent, assault with a weapon, assault, 2 charges of breaching officer-in-charge undertaking conditions, and one count of breaching probation. A female party at the scene suffered minor physical injuries resulting from this. The 28-year old man was arrested and held for a bail hearing.
