Unwanted Person

Belleville Ont, at 752 am police were called to an address at the north end of Wallbridge Loyalist road. Upon arrival they spoke to the complainant who advised that a male in his 30’s was not wanted on their property. Officers spoke to the male who did not have any reason to be there. The male left upon request and no futher action was required.


Motor Vehicle Collision

Belleville Ont, At 723 pm officers attended in the area of Vallyview and North Front st in regards to a motor vehicle collision. The vehicles had pulled off the road into a parking lot. They were unable to attend the collision reporting center. An officer attended and spoke to both parties. There was minor damage and the two involved exchanged information . There were no charges and no further police involvement.


Motor Vehicle Collision

Belleville Ont, At 834 pm officers received a call about an accident that occurred in the south bound lanes of Cannifton Rd. A vehicle was south bound and struck another vehicle which had pulled out of a driveway on the east side of the road. The first vehicle lost control and drove into the Moira River. A female in her late teens managed to escape with her dog just before the vehicle sank. She then managed to swim to shore. There were no serious injuries and none of the parties were taken to hospital. The accident is still under investigation and recovery of the vehicle will take place today.
