Arrest on Warrants
Belleville, Ont. – On the 4th of September 2018 shortly after 2:00 P.M. police arrested a 36 year old female in the city’s north end on outstanding warrants for failing to attend for fingerprints and photographs under the Identification of Criminals Act and failing to attend for court. The Belleville resident is being held in custody to appear before a Justice of the Peace on the 5th of September to determine her release.
Breach of Probation
Belleville, Ont. – On the 4th of September 2018 shortly after 11:00 A.M. police arrested a 27 year old male resident of Belleville in the Cities core for a number of breach of probation charges stemming from an investigation that was initiated on the 27th of August of this year. The male is being held in custody to appear before a Justice of the Peace on the 5th of September for a bail hearing. He is facing 6 charges of breach of probation at this time.
Belleville, Ont. – On the 5th of September 2018 at 12:13 A.M. police received a call with regards to a domestic in the city’s west end. A female was taken to Belleville General Hospital by ambulance for observation and a possible concussion while a 28 year old male from the Hamilton area was arrested for assault. Investigation led to charges of assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats and mischief. The male is being held for a bail hearing, also on the 5th of September. Names are being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
