Domestic Assault

Belleville, On- In the early hours of 5 July, 2018 police attended at a residence on Haig Road in response to a complaint of a disturbance.  Investigation of this complaint resulted in a 24 year old Belleville male being arrested on 5 July, 2018 at 10:52 p.m. for assault.  The male will appear for a bail hearing on 6 July, 2018.


Theft Under

Belleville, On – On 27 December, 2017 police initiated an investigation into a theft of money.  It was reported that an unknown person had taken money from the victim’s bank account after the victim had mistakenly left their bank card in the ATM.  Police identified the culprit in April of 2018.  On 6 July, 2017 officers arrested Todd Plews (40 years) of Belleville for the theft and at the time of his arrest he was in possession of a schedule I drug. 

Plews has been charged with one count of Theft Under $5000.00 and one count of Possession of Schedule I drug and will appear in Provincial court on 9 August, 2018.
