Animal – Belleville ON

At 08:18 am on April 5th, 2015 police responded to complaints of an aggressive German Sheppard dog running unattended in the city’s east end. The dog bit an adult male (causing minor injuries) before being apprehended by police with the assistance of Animal Control. The dog has being quarantined by Animal Control.

 

Drugs & Weapons– Belleville ON

At 1:50 pm on April 5th, 2015 police conducted a routine traffic stop in the city’s west end. During the stop police detected a strong odor of marihuana.  As a result of further police investigation two Belleville men have been charged with numerous criminal offences. 20 year old Lucas Broadbent and 21 year old Thomas Tomlinson were held for a bail hearing set for April 7th 2015. Together they are charged with 2 counts of Weapons Dangerous 2 counts of Possession for the Purpose of trafficking 1 count Fail to comply Recognizance and 1 count Proceeds of crime. The Belleville Police would like to remand the public that crime does not pay!
