Motor Vehicle Collisions

 

Belleville, Ontario – On February 5th, 2018, at 11:35 a.m. police received a call about a 4-car accident in the intersection of Dundas Street East and Church Street. The investigation revealed that it was a 3-car accident with one injured driver. EMS attended and the driver was taken to Quinte Health Care for treatment of minor injuries. Two of the vehicles were towed from the scene. The investigation is continuing.

 

On February 5th, 2018, at 3:53 p.m. police attended at the intersection of Cannifton Road and Bell Blvd. in relation to a 2-car accident. EMS attended to treat the drivers at the scene. Both vehicles were towed. A 17-year old youth was charged with failing to yield to traffic. 

 

 

 

Disturbance

 

Belleville, Ontario – On February 5th, 2018, at 6:55 p.m. police attended at the Emergency Department at BGH in relation to an unruly male patient. The male had threatened the nurses and took a swing at a Doctor during an examination. A 74-year-old Belleville man was arrested for his own protection under the Liquor Licence Act. He was issued a provincial offence notice for being intoxicated in a public place. No one was injured.
