At approximately 4pm yesterday afternoon Police & Fire Crews were dispatched to an East Hill residence in regards to a structure fire.  All residents escaped without injury.  The preliminary cause has been deemed suspicious & therefore the Ontario Fire Marshalls Office has been dispatched to investigate.  A parallel investigation has been initiated by the Belleville Police Service.  If anyone has any information in relation to this investigation, they are asked to call the Belleville Police Service at (613) 966-0882 ext. 2223. 

 

Belleville Police Service responded to 7 motor vehicle collisions over the past 24 hours.  There were no injuries.

 

Belleville Officers responded to disturbances in the early morning hours taking place in front of a local night club uptown.  One officer was assaulted by an intoxicated male who was arrested & charged with a provincial offence.
