3 day suspension
Belleville, Ontario – On March 5th, 2015, at 5:10 a.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop on Front Street. The driver, a 24 year old Trenton man, had been drinking and registered a ‘warn’ on a roadside screening device. His licence was suspended for three days and his vehicle was impounded.
Accidents
Belleville, Ontario – On March 5th, 2015, at 4:54 p.m. police attended on Dundas Street West at Applewood Drive in relation to a two-car accident. A 54 year old Frankford woman was charged with failing to yield to traffic. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. There were no reported injuries.
At 5:05 p.m., at the same intersection, officers observed a car run into the back of a city bus. There was no damage to the city bus; nor were there any injuries.
At 9:18 p.m. police attended on West Moira Street at Yeomans Street as a car had struck a parked car. A 27 year old British Columbia man was charged with careless driving. There were no injuries.
Disturbance
Belleville, Ontario – On March 5th, 2015, at 10:49 p.m. police responded to a disturbance on Front Street. A 31 year old Belleville man was arrested for his own protection under the Liquor Licence Act. No one was injured.
