Arrest on Warrants

Belleville, Ont- On the 5th of March 2018 at approximately 3:05Pm an officer observed a male known to him to have outstanding arrest warrants walking on Coleman Street. The male was arrested and the warrant was confirmed to be valid. The 64yr old male was transported to Ottawa where he will appear in court to answer to the outstanding charge.

 

Motor Vehicle Collisions

Belleville, Ont- During the past 24hrs Belleville Police responded to 10 motor vehicle collisions within the city. No serious injuries were reported.

 

911 Calls

Belleville, Ont- During the past 24 hours Belleville Police responded to 11 non-emergency 911 calls. All of the calls were found to be placed in error or pocket dials. Police are urging parents to instruct their children on the proper usages of 911 and to lock their cell phones when not in use to prevent pocket dialing.

 

R.I.D.E

Belleville, Ont- Belleville Police Service conducted R.I.D.E spot checks at various locations during the night stopping approximately 400 vehicles. No drivers were found to be impaired and only one Highway Traffic Act offence notice was issued.

 

Missing Youth

Belleville, Ont- At approximately 11:45Pm Belleville Police began an investigation into a missing youth. Bryce Henderson 16yrs was last seen leaving a residence in the east end of the city. He is described as male white, 16yrs, 5’8” 140lbs, with shoulder length brown hair. He was wearing a blue coat, blue jeans with tan work boots and carrying a large backpack. The investigation is continuing and if you have any information about Henderson’s location please contact Belleville Police.
