Belleville, Ontario – On November 4th 2015, Detectives with the Criminal Investigations Branch assisted Peel Regional Police Service execute a search warrant at an east end home in search of evidence of luring to commit invitation to sexual touching and luring to commit indecent act. While police conducted the search warrant in Belleville the suspect was arrested in Peel as he arrived to meet who he believed was a 13 year old girl he was luring on line.
Peel Regional Police Service has charged 51 year old Belleville resident Calvin Parker with 2 counts of Luring.

Belleville Man Arrested in Internet Luring Investigation
Mississauga – Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Internet Child Exploitation Unit have charged a 51 year old man with Internet Luring.
On Tuesday, October 13, 2015, an Internet Child Exploitation Unit investigator accessed an internet online chat channel, in an undercover capacity, posing as a 13 year-old girl. While online, conversation began between the officer and an adult male. The suspect allegedly engaged in sexually explicit conversations with the officer over several weeks. During the online chats, the suspect continued to express an interest in meeting in person for a sexual purpose.
On Wednesday, November 4, 2015, arrangements were made to have the suspect meet the undercover officer at an undisclosed location in the Mississauga area. The suspect arrived at the specified location, intending to meet with the 13 year-old girl. Instead he was met by investigators with the Internet Child Exploitation (I.C.E.) Unit, and was subsequently arrested and charged.
Calvin PARKER, 51 years-old, from Belleville, is charged with Luring to Commit Invitation to Sexual Touching and Luring to Commit Indecent Act. He was held for a bail hearing and appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Thursday, November 5, 2015.
The investigation is ongoing by members of the Internet Child Exploitation Unit. Anyone believing they may have had contact with the suspect is urged to contact them.
Investigators would like to remind parents and children about the dangers of revealing personal information anywhere on the internet. Everyone is urged to remain vigilant in using safe practices while accessing the internet.
