Accidents (2 involving pedestrians)

 

Belleville, Ontario On October 5th, 2014, at 7:10 a.m. police attended at the intersection of Dundas Street West and Coleman Street in relation to a two-car accident.  A 55 year old Bloomfield man was charged with disobeying a red light.

 

On October 5th, 2014, at 12:18 p.m. police attended in the parking lot of 366 North Front Street as a pedestrian had been struck by a car.  It was learned that two cars collided in the parking lot.  One of the cars spun around a struck a parked car.  The owner of the parked car was in the process of unbuckling a toddler from a car seat when he was ejected after the impact.  He suffered minor injuries in this accident.  No charges laid given that the accident occurred on private property.

 

On October 5th, 2014, at 4:24 p.m. police attended in the parking lot of 190 Bell Blvd. as a pedestrian had been struck by a car.  The pedestrian was treated at Quinte Health care for minor injuries.  No charges laid given that the accident occurred on private property.
